Painting Away...

I've decided to share some of my illustration work on this blog from time to time because I might make this my sole business blog in order to make my other blog an all elementary art blog.

I take a lot of inspiration from Picasso, Matisse, and songs I'm listening to at the moment.  I enjoy bright colors, patterns, and [obviously] portraiture.  I consider watercolors to be my strength, but it was fun to dabble in acrylics and mixed media.

I've been really lucky to photograph so many coworkers lately, and I got another chance this weekend with this sweet family.  This momma LOVES animal print, so we definitely used lots during this session.  Baby K is absolutely ADORABLE.  She did such a great job on her first "official" photo shoot.  This is just a tiny portion of the photos [and not even every outfit!], but I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek!

Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing two of my coworkers' families.  This family is super sweet, and the kids are SO in love with each other!  It was so fun to photograph them because they pretty much couldn't stop playing and cuddling.  The lighting was awesome, and I'm loving all of this recent fall weather.  I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek!
