When this daddy emailed me to say he wanted to surprise his wife with a photo shoot for Christmas, I was so excited, and when he told me that he had three little ones under 4 and one on the way, I was a little nervous!  I had absolutely no need to be because these 3 were SOOO sweet and well mannered.  We had to improvise a little when we realized that we would need to do the photo shoot early in the morning, and then we were slightly disappointed to find Yates Mill blocked off for construction.  This family rocked it out any way, so I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

I can't believe it has been three months since I took this little guy's newborns.  This shoot was exciting because it wasn't only baby J's 3 month photos, it was big sister's 5 year photos!  We met at the family's new house, so some of the photos are in baby J's empty nursery.  I can't wait to see how the house changes and capture many more memories for this family there.  Enjoy the sneak!

From snow, wind, and rain to warm, sunny weather, the past few weeks have been pretty crazy around here!  Luckily, Sunday was such a beautiful and mild day.  I had the pleasure of shooting a couple who wanted to book me as their wedding photographer, but as I've posted, I'm no longer booking weddings.  They are getting married next fall, and thanks to crazy NC weather, we got some fall-like engagement photos on this February weekend!  The snow was still melting, so there was a bit of muddy climbing going on, but this couple was up for anything!  I actually got lost on the way to find the location earlier in the week, and stumbled upon this trail.  I liked it so much, that I asked them to go there, and they were so kind to trust me.  I had a blast avoiding bikers and trying new things, so I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!
